About Me
My name is Christine Kim. I am a user experience and user interface designer with hopes to learn more about and improve my skills in various disciplines of the design world. I love to design effective interactions and eye-catching interfaces. But I also love to watch behind-the-scenes videos about how movie sets are made and documentaries about how certain artists think and create, whether that be in the kitchen, in a notebook, or through a lens.
Additionally, I have a keenness to see the big picture as well as to give meticulous love to the minor nuances of my work, others' work, and life in general. I think this medley of interests leaves me desiring to fulfill this chameleon-like empathy for anybody and anything I encounter. And ultimately, I strive to understand the world better through the people and the things around me as a means to create experiences that reflect a more brilliant tomorrow.
Some of my other interests include: cooking new recipes, taking photographs, writing, spending time with my dogs, traveling the world, singing along to songs from musicals and Simon + Garfunkel, listening to audio books + podcasts, and watching films/television.
